Qatar Petroleum Honours Fresh Graduates

Doha, December 20 (QNA) - Qatar Petroleum held a celebration in honour of a new group of graduates who joined the organization for work after obtaining their technical and academic requirements for diploma, B.Sc. and Master's degrees in various specializations. QP honoured a total of 112 graduates in 27 specializations covering law, maritime science, information, different engineering and technical specializations, management, safety, environment, fire extinguishing, finance science, geology and others. The graduates included 5 who obtained master' degrees, 74 B.Sc. holders and 33 graduates with different technical certificates who completed their studies at the Qatar, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Australia and the Sultanate of Oman. President and CEO of Qatar Petroleum Eng. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi welcomed the graduates wishing them a successful professional future. Addressing the graduates and their families, Eng. Al-Kaabi expressed pleasure to see a new generation of Qatari youths (both males and females) making their first professional steps to build their future and assume their places to lead "this pioneering national corporation". He called on the graduates to exploit this opportunity to build their future on the base of knowledge, confirming that life is an ongoing cycle of learning that will not come to an end regardless of the expertise and experiences that have been acquired.(QNA)
