Asiamoney Poll Picks Maybank Ib 'Best Brokerage House In Malaysia'

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 21 (Bernama) -- Maybank Investment Bank (Maybank IB) has been voted the Best Brokerage House in Malaysia by fund managers across the world in Asiamoney's Brokers Poll 2015. The Asiamoney's Brokers Poll is Asia's largest and most recognised annual equities poll for institutional research and brokerage. In a statement Monday, the investment bank, known globally as Maybank Kim Eng, said it was also given other recognitions, including the 'Best Overall Country Research' and 'Best Macroeconomic Research for Malaysia'. Chief Executive Officer of Maybank IB and Maybank Kim Eng Group, John Chong, said they were honoured to have received such strong recognition from clients. "Over the past few years, we have been strengthening our institutional equities offering and building up our research teams accross the region.
