‘Iran may join TANAP’

Tehran, January 20, AZERTAC “Iran may join the large-scale regional project, TANAP, with the aim of exporting its natural gas to the European markets,” Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pak Aein said. The Ambassador described Azerbaijan as Iran’s “important” economic partner. “The two countries may invest in the realization of construction and transit projects.” Pak Aein said the elimination of sanctions will bring official Baku and Tehran closer to each other. “The two countries rich in oil and gas may invest together in oil industry,” he added.
