Road 14 A construction kicks off
(KPL) The construction of road 14 A to connect Ban Huayphek with Ban Phaphin, Phonthong district, Champasak province, has been commenced.
The road construction is being carried out for 25-km length and 9-m width.
Started in the past November, the construction costs 20.3 million US dollars and is carried out by a local Duangdee Bridge-Road Construction Co., Ltd.Engineering Manager of the construction project, Mr. Phonephana Phommala, said early this month that the construction would be complete in three years or by the end of 2011.
The agreement on the construction was signed earlier in October last year.“Nine bridges will be also constructed along the road,” said Mr. Phonephana.
