Qatar Stocks Close Higher

Doha, February 01 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index continued its green run for the third consecutive day when the bourse closed trading at 9,547.83 points or +0.70% Monday. The daily turnover today fell to QR 237.216 Million with a volume of 8,781,114 shares from 4,219 deals compared to QR 316.16 Million with a volume of 11,377,366 shares from 5,138 deals on Sunday. From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 39 saw trading today. From these 22 gained, 16 declined, and one remained unchanged. Baring insurance index, down -0.27%, all indices ended in the green today, with telecoms gaining the most, up +2% to 1,004.3 points. QSE Total Return Index gained +0.70% to 14,840.72 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained +0.85% to 3,400.63 points and QSE All Share Index gained +0.54% to 2,533.33 points. (QNA)
