Economy: Ryan Air Profits Double in Final Three Months of 2015

London, February 01 (QNA) - Low-cost airline Ryanair said Monday that its profits for the final three months of 2015, doubled to 103 million Euros. Passenger volume rose by 20% to 25 million. The average fares dropped 1% to 40 Euros per flight. The company said that bookings were affected by the Paris attack, which prompted the company to put discount on fares to simulate traffic growth. Revenues increased 17% from 1.13 billion Euros in the final three months of 2014 to 1.33 billion Euros. They expect traffic in the first three months of 2016 to go up by 26%. (QNA)
