Qatar Stock Index Gains 85.49 Points

Doha, February 02 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index continued its green run for the fourth consecutive day when it closed trading at 9,633.32 points, up 85.49 points or +0.90% Tuesday. The daily turnover today jumped to QR 317.09 Million with a volume of 8,966,585 shares from 5,042 deals compared to QR 237.216 Million with a volume of 8,781,114 shares from 4,219 deals on Monday. From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 40 saw trading today. From these 26 gained, 11 declined, and three remained unchanged. Baring real estate index, down -0.90%, all indices ended in the green today, with telecoms gaining the most for the second day, up +4.80% to 1,052.51 points. QSE Total Return Index gained +1.24% to 15,024.12 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained +0.30% to 3,410.87 points and QSE All Share Index gained +1.27% to 2,565.48 points. (QNA)
