Qatar Stock Index Drops 146.61 Points

Doha, February 03 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) halted its green run Wednesday when the index closed trading at 9,486.71, 146.61 points (-1.52%) lower. The daily turnover today fell to QR 212.32 Million with a volume of 5,923,443 shares from 4,282 deals compared to QR 317.09 Million with a volume of 8,966,585 shares from 5,042 deals on Tuesday. From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 40 saw trading today. From these 30 declined, eight gained, and two remained unchanged. Baring transport index, up +0.51%, all indices ended in the red today, with industries dropping the most by -3.17% followed by insurance -2.61%. QSE Total Return Index dropped -1.52% to 14,795.47 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index dropped -1.31% to 3,366.1 points and QSE All Share Index dropped -1.40% to 2,529.68 points. (QNA)
