Qatar Stock Index Jumps 196.91 Points

Doha, February 04 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) jumped back into the green zone Thursday when the index closed trading at 9,683.62 points, up 196.91 points or +2.08%. The daily turnover today jumped QR 304.529 Million with a volume of 10,041,368 shares from 5,064 deals compared to QR 212.32 Million with a volume of 5,923,443 shares from 4,282 deals on Wednesday. From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 39 saw trading today. From these 29 gained, seven declined, and three remained unchanged. All indices ended in the green today, with banks and finance sector index gaining the most, up +2.80% followed by real estate, up +2.23%. QSE Total Return Index gained +2.08% to 15,102.57 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained +2.06% to 3,435.44 points and QSE All Share Index gained +1.98% to 2,579.75 points. (QNA)
