BP with partners from AIOC increased gas supply to SOCAR in 2015

Baku, March 1, AZERTAC BP-led consortium Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC), developing Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field block, increased associated gas delivery to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in 2015. BP Azerbaijan reports that for the past year the SOCAR received from AIOC 8.9 million-cub m of associated gas on the average versus 7.55 million cub m in 2014. The daily delivery totaled 13.6 million cub m (record level) for Q1, 9.2 million cub m for Q2, 6.6 million cub m in Q3, and 6.2 million cub m in Q4. “In 2015 SOCAR was delivered 3.2 bn cu m of gas (1.2 bn cu m in Q1, 900 million cu m in Q2, 600 million cu m in Q3 and 50 million in Q4) against 2.76 bn cu m in 2014 and 2.19 bn cu m in 2013,” BP Azerbaijan informs. The contract for block development includes free delivery of associated gas to SOCAR.
