The Boeing-sponsored series explores major advancements in civilian, military and space technology over the past 100 years, from pioneering aircraft designs like the B17 Flying Fortress and 747 jetliner to the Space Launch System that will take mankind to Mars and beyond.
In Malaysia, the first episode in the five-part series entitled "What Can't We do?" debuts on Discovery Channel at 7pm on March 30 on Astro channel 551, with subsequent hour-long episodes occurring at the same time every week until the end of April, it said in a statement here Wednesday.
"This documentary series captures the evolution of the aerospace industry. We are stewards of a great legacy -- one that provides the foundation for a better future," said Skip Boyce, President, Boeing Southeast Asia.
"We hope that this series inspires the next generation of visionaries as we launch into our second century."
Produced by an award-winning production company, the Documentary Group, the series takes viewers on an exciting journey from the earliest days of flight captured in grainy footage and fast-forwards through the decades to the high definition soaring of the 787 Dreamliner.
