MAPIM To Help Promote Palestinian Products To Southeast Asian Countries

KUALA LUMPUR, March 28 (Bernama) -- The Malaysia Islamic Organisations Consultative Council (MAPIM) plans to promote Palestinian products across the Southeast Asian region in an effort to help improve the economy of the people in the troubled country. MAPIM president Azmi Abdul Hamid said among the products were decorative items, tableware and paintings. "MAPIM is ready to work with other non-governmental organisations for this purpose," he told reporters after the signing of a cooperation agreement with Widuri Souvenir, here, Sunday. -- BERNAMA
