UAE welcomes arrival of President and members of the Libyan Presidential Council in Tripoli

ABU DHABI, 5th April, 2016 (WAM) -- The United Arab Emirates has welcomed the arrival of the President of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord, Fayez Al Saraj, and other members of the council in the capital, Tripoli, as a positive step towards a political solution to the Libyan crisis. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation emphasised the importance of the constitutional approval of the Libyan government by the House of Representatives, according to the outcome of the Libyan Political Agreement signed in Skhirat city, Morocco.
