Vietnamese embassy holds meeting to mark traditional new year
(KPL) Mr. Nguyen Huy Quang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam organized at his office in Vientiane on 13 January a meeting to mark Vietnam’s traditional new year festival (Tet).
Present at the meeting were Mr. Somsavat Lengsavad, Standing Deputy Prime Minister , ministers, deputy ministers and senior officials from Laos and Vietnam.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Huy Quang briefed the participants of Vietnam’s great achievements in all fields and congratulated the year of 2008 as the most important year which Laos and Vietnam has hardly working to expand the traditional special friendship relation and comprehensive co-operation between Laos and Vietnam.
Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Huy Quang also toasted all attendants' good health.
