Social media coach training course launched

Manama, Aug. 7 (BNA): The ‏‎International Social Media Club‎‏ (ISMC) (Bahrain chapter) has signed an agreement with Bahrain Training Society (BTS) to launch the Social Media Coach Training Course. Club's chairman Ali Sabkar said the agreement, the first of its kind in the Middle East, aimed to enable coaches in various specialisations to invest in social media websites, tools and features for training. Under the agreement, social media experts in the club will organise workshops, forums, and coaching consultations for members and non-members. Sabkar said social media webpages provide new channels for information conveyance and skills imparting from coach to trainees. The social media websites also contribute full services throughout the stages of practical training, including diagnosing trainees' actual needs, analysis, appraisal, follow up and measurement of training results. "We have announced our intention to dedicate the ISMC's expertise in serving training and coaching in Bahrain and providing coaches with all requirements and capabilities to achieve the objectives of practical training," he said. "A basic feature of our work in the club is to train, and, therefore, we know quite well the needs of trainees that we will provide through this ambitious course."
