Azerbaijani population's income grew 8.5 per cent this year

Baku, August 13, AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s State Statistical Committee has said the income of the country`s population saw a 8.5 per cent growth in the nominal terms compared to the same period last year. According to official figures, 77 per cent of Azerbaijani citizens` income went on consumer spending, 9.1 percent on taxes, insurance and membership fees, 2.7 percent on interest loans, while 11.2 per cent was deposited in savings.
