Martial arts displayed to mark 60th anniversary founding of Lao People’s Army
(KPL) The ministry of National Defense organized on Friday a martial arts performance to mark the 60th anniversary founding of the Lao People’s Army.
Among the high ranking officials attending at the event were party and state leaders including the Secretary General of the Party and State President Choummaly sayasone, politburo members, Party Central Committee members, National Assembly members and government officials. The main objective of the function aimed to demonstrate the growth, consolidation and the readiness of the Lao people’s army during the past 60 years to protect the country’s independence, sovereignty and territory.
On this occasion, President Choummaly expressed congratulations to all military officers for their great efforts and contributions to the national defense, development and construction.
