Boost to Bahrain-Korea business cooperation

Manama, Aug. 22 (BNA): As per its strategy emphasizing on expanding the spectrum of Asian investors in the Kingdom of Bahrain and in a bid to pave the ground for fruitful business ties and joint ventures between Asian and local businesses, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Bahrain Asian Traders Committee (BATC) has met the ambassador of Korea to Bahrain, Ho Park. The committee, chaired by deputy-treasurer and committee head Mohamed Sajid, mulled encouraging Korean business owners to venture in the Bahraini market, particularly in light of the robust business and investment climate on the one hand, and the strategic location of Bahrain as a gateway to the Gulf market on the other hand. Sajid extended invitation to the ambassador and Korean business owners to attend "Re-invest in Bahrain" forum which the committee is holding on September 28. Concluding the meeting, the committee expressed keenness on embracing Korean business owners as members of BATC, and encouraged them to take part in the events organized by BATC committee.
