Malaysia's RHB Opens Second Branch In Laos

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 25 (Bernama) -- Malaysia's RHB Banking Group looks forward to growing its affiliation with new and existing customers in Laos, with the opening of the bank's second branch there. Chairman Azlan Zainol said Malaysia's fourth largest, fully integrated financial services group, has a strong team to support and drive operations in the country, as well as address the needs of customers. "We are very pleased to be expanding our footprint in Laos. It is part of our continued commitment in delivering superior customer experience, as well as providing convenience to our customers in line with our Reframed Group Strategy," he said in a statement Thursday. The Sithan Neua Branch, will serve both business and individual customers, providing a full spectrum of financial solutions, including deposit products, remittances, ATMs, various loan facilities as well as foreign exchange. Additionally, RHB will also be providing Loans and Trade Finance to enterprises which produce goods for domestic consumption and export, as well as to importers. This is to enable enterprises to expand their businesses and in the process help create jobs and income for the community. To mark its growing footprint in Laos, RHB is offering a six-month deposit campaign. Customers and businesses that open a Savings or Current Account or Fixed Deposits for a minimum of three months with the bank will be presented with attractive gifts. --BERNAMA
