Bahrain to host Forum on Government Transformation

By Nayla Barakat Manama, Sep. 19 (BNA): Preparations are underway to host the second Forum for Excellence under the title: Government Transformation on November 30 - December 1. The three-day event will be held under the patronage of the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Mutawa. The highlight of the forum will be the exchange of views and experiences among the speakers and the participants covering the region’s geo political, current economic and political issues, said Fahad Al Shehabi the Secretary General of the Forum. The Forum targets the top officials in the government and the private sectors, he added. The first excellence forum was attended by various members in the government and private sectors, including officials from the human resource, public relations, consultants and development departments of the sectors. “We are expecting a large turnout of the participants this years, as the previous forum held under the theme “Excellency with low resources” was a huge success. We have more than 200 participants attending the forum from all over the GCC countries,” Shehabi said. Over the two days, the Forum will provide an opportunity to the participants to listen to the experts, decision makers and opinion leaders on wide ranging topics from human rights to labour, sustainable development, knowledge management, health services, education, management, social development, public relations, economics, human resources and assessment of educational system.
