BMA participates in FIA meeting

Paris, Sep. 27 (BNA): Chairman of Bahrain Motor Association (BMA) also Chairman of the International Karting Committee (CIK), Shaikh Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa, is participating today in the meeting of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) at its headquarters in the French capital, Paris, chaired by John Todd. The meeting will discuss the 2017 calendar of Formula 1 motor racing season and the new season motor racing events. Also, the meeting will discuss other international championships and means to upgrade the standard of motorsports. Shaikh Abdullah will deliver the international championships calendar approved by the CIK committee in its meeting last August for its final approval. The Council's latest meeting was held in Turin, Italy, on June 23.
