Dragon City set to host art gallery

Manama, Sep. 27 (BNA): Exploring and conquering new areas of interest, Dragon City is set to inspire the Bahrain community with a magical art gallery, ‘Eco, Peace & Prosperity’, celebrating the Chinese National Day. In collaboration with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities and Chinese Embassy, and sponsored by Diyar Al Muharraq, the art gallery is an incredible opportunity to have influential art collectors from the region turn to the renowned platform and witness the tremendous opportunity it will open for Bahrain, the neighboring regions and China.
China, known to many as one of the most intriguing countries in the world, has created an air of enigma that beautifully infuses the Chinese culture’s sense of values and heritage. Known to be the epicenter of endless nights fuelled with creativity , the country’s dynamic art scene is a multitude of artists that creatively bring elements of Chinese traditions mixed with Western elements.
Many artists are known to begin their journey in art from Beijing and Shanghai- home of world-renowned artists and masterfully painted series. Some describe art as the ‘exploration of the inner-self’, thus showcasing a nurturing and strong relationship between them and their piece of art.
The celebrated Chinese art are so significant that many international collectors are investing their money to have their entire space showcase the new, young and aspiring artists. The renewed wave of interest in Chinese art is truly a real turning point for budding artists.
Taking the beauty of Chinese culture around the world, Dragon City, famously known for its uniquely contemporary and extraordinary variety of consumer-friendly Chinese products is celebrating the Chinese National Day in an exceptional way- through contemporary Chinese art. In collaboration with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities and the Chinese Embassy, and sponsored by Diyar Al Muharraq, Dragon City is ready to introduce to Bahrain the ever- rising interest in contemporary Chinese art at the Art Centre, next to the National Museum from 1st October to 3rd October.
The Art Gallery Opening Ceremony is set to take place on the 1st of October at the Art Centre. Commencing at 7pm, the ceremony will see a number of VIPs and dignitaries from the Bahrain Authority
of Culture and Antiquities, executive management from Diyar Al Muharraq, management from Dragon City as well as the artists whose work is being exhibited during the three days. During the opening ceremony, a number of known Bahraini artists will be present sharing their valuable experiences with the guest artists.
The gallery hopes to resonate centuries of culture with the exhibit of different paintings featuring talented artists from China. The art exhibit is placed into a new context, which focuses on Eco, Peace & Prosperity, where admirers will have the opportunity to draw an entirely new meaning out of the work that are cleverly inspired from the artist’s background and urban surroundings.
Bringing crossovers in music, art and everything around you, this art gallery will help you catch up with China’s emerging artists. Describing century’s worth of rich and vibrant cultures, people will be able to re-orientate towards the profoundly mystical and essence of lifestyle from an artist’s eye. It is truly amazing to witness how words and images can come together to describe the various dimensions of human nature.
