King congratulated by Interior Minister

Manama, Sep. 29 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa on being granted the "Samuel Zwemer" Award by the Reformed Church in the United States, and the "Lifetime Achievement" Award by US C3 Summit. The honour was bestowed on HM the King in recognition of his efforts and achievements in all fields, including mainly development, respect of diverse religions, supporting health services in Bahrain and consolidating relations between Bahrain and the USA, therefore setting an example of strategic partnership between countries. The minister hailed HM the King’s support to the American Mission Hospital and the health services, lauding landmark developments in the prosperous era of HM the King. He highlighted the Kingdom’s firm commitment to lofty human values and keenness on promoting democracy and ensuring people decent standard of living.
