Cooperation between BFA and Association for Furtherance of Peace discussed

Manama, Oct. 3 (BNA): Board member of Bahrain Football Association (BFA) and Head of the Women Committee Shaikha Hessa bint Khalid Al Khalifa met with President of the international Austrian Association for the Furtherance of Peace Her Imperial Highness Archduchess Herta Margarete and her husband Vice President Archduke Sandor von Habsburg, in the presence of BFA Secretary General Hassan Ismail Mohammed. Shaikha Hessa received an invitation for the national women football team to paly matches with teams from the Austrian league marking the imperial celebration which is set to be held from October 14 to 20. She also discussed with Archduchess Herta Margarete and Archduke Sandor von Habsburg ways of boosting cooperation between BFA and the Association for the Furtherance of Peace by playing friendlies and holding a training camp for the national women team in the forthcoming period of time. She also affirmed BFA's keenness to support the national women team, in line with the directives of BFA Board Chairman Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa. Shaikha Hessa presented the association's shield and the national team's jersey to the Association for the Furtherance of Peace.
