Ways to boost Bahraini-Russian cooperation discussed

Manama, Oct. 9 (BNA): Board Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Moayed stressed the importance of boosting economic and investment relations between Bahrain and Russia and carrying on with the implementation of the recommendations of the leadership's recent visit to Russia. Speaking at a meeting at Bait Al Tijjar today with Russian Ambassador to Bahrain Vagif Garaev, he urged to further bolster bilateral relations for the best interest of both countries. He hailed the efforts of the Russian embassy in this respect, pointing out the significance of holding meetings in further promoting cooperation between both countries. The Russian ambassador praised the development reforms in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, expressing appreciation of growing political and economic relations between Bahrain and Russia. He also called to avail of the direct flights between both countries for more visits of economic delegations to explore investment opportunities in both countries. The meeting was attended by BCCI Board members Jawad Yusef Al Hawaj and Ahlem Yusef Janahi and Acting Chief Executive Abdulaziz Al Refai.
