Bahrain condemns attack on US Destroyer

Manama, Oct. 11 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain condemns the attack of the coup forces in the Republic of Yemen that targeted the USS Naval Mason destroyer in the Red Sea, stressing that this terrorist attack would threaten international navigation, and exposing the commercial navigation in the Strait of Bab el Mandeb to risk. The Ministry reiterates the Arab coalition determination and resolve to continue its ongoing support to the legitimacy in Yemen till the legitimate government under the leadership of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi tightens its grip all over the territory of Yemen, and calls on the coup rebels and their supporters to immediately cease all practices that impede the restoration of security and peace to all parts of Yemen, and work towards a political solution based on the agreed terms of reference including the GCC initiative and its executive mechanism, the outcome of the National Dialogue and the UN Security Council resolution 2216.
