Minister to patronise EMET Conference/Exhibition

Manama, Oct. 13 (BNA): Under the patronage of Oil Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Kingdom of Bahrain will host the Ethylene Middle East Technology (EMET) Conference/Exhibition themed "Sustaining Ethylene Competitiveness through Solution Sharing," The second edition of EMET exhibition/conference will be organized by Energy Event Management (Middle East) Company in association with American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), in coordination with National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA), and supported by regional and international oil firms. The event will attract senior officials, engineers and technicians at national, reginal and international mega companies specialized in ethylene production technologies. Also, many students, researchers and experts will attend from local and Gulf vocational institutes and universities to mutually exchange on applied expertise, innovative concepts and strategies to lower costs and magnify investment returns and to ensure added value in the fields of planning, design, operation and maintenance. The conference will also include various workshops and lectures to be presented by specialized speakers from several international firms which excel in the ethylene industry to shed light on current and future challenges facing the industry in the Middle East and the rest of the world. The associated exhibition will attract the participation of international and regional firms including AspenTech, Saudi Basic Industries Company (SABIC), Qatar Petrochemicals Company, Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO), and many more sponsors/exhibiters to showcase latest and most advanced engineering and control systems.
