Bahrain condemns terror attack on army checkpoint in Egypt’s North Sinai

Manama, Oct. 14 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain condemns the terrorist attack which targeted one of the checkpoints in North Sinai Governorate of the Arab Republic of Egypt, killing and wounding a number of Egyptian Armed Forces members. The Ministry expresses its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs and wishes speedy recovery to all the injured in this terrorist act which has nothing to do with religion and contravenes all human and moral principles. It affirms the Kingdom of Bahrain’s solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt in confronting violence, extremism and terrorism and vows full support for all the measures it deems necessary to take in order to reinforce security, consolidate stability and protect the state institutions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms anew the stance of the Kingdom of Bahrain in renunciation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and renews its call for concerted international efforts, at all levels, to eradicate this serious scourge which threatens all world countries without exception, and to dry up its sources of funding.
