King: Bahrain will remain an oasis of security, stability

Manama, Oct. 18 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received at Al-Sakhir Palace the Hussainya Processions Authority, led by its chairman Ahmed Mohsen bin Salloum, marking the end of the Ashoora rituals. HM the King thanked them all for their good management of the rituals, for the sake of the doctrine which has long been known in Bahrain over centuries. Salloum reiterated unwavering loyalty to HM the King, hailing him as the leader, pioneer and wise monarch. They also thanked HM the King for directing all governments departments to ensure all services and facilities which contributed to the success of the Ashoora rituals. HM the King commended the efforts of the chairman and members of the Hussainya Processions Authority to mark the religious occasion, hailing their constructive cooperation and coordination with the authorities in organizing the event. HM the King underscored the importance of the event, stressing the need to bolster the principles of cooperation and fraternity between all people under the banner of national unity and Islamic values. He took pride in the freedom of people who exercise their religious rituals without any discrimination or division. He hailed Bahrain’s long-standing specificity and generational co-existence, stressing keenness on religious diversity and the protection of social fabric and national cohesion. “Bahrain will remain an oasis of security and stability and a country of co-existence and safety for all people living on this land”, HM the King said. The Hussainya Processions Authority officials paid tribute to HM the King for issuing royal directives to all ministries and government departments to ensure all facilities and services and overcome all challenges and obstacles. They hailed the King’s keenness on the good organization of the rituals which, they said, reflects his firm belief in diversity, tolerance and religious co-existence between all categories of the social spectrum. These lofty principles, they said, have been enshrined in the constitution of the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of the reform project led by HM the King since his succession to the throne. The authority backed the wise leadership in its efforts to spread the spirit of tolerance, renounce divisions between people and direct all ministries and government departments to ensure all services to citizens. “We affirm our unwavering support to the royal directives to cement national unity on all levels”, they said, stressing the long-standing historic role of the Hussainya Processions Authority in backing the unified homeland.
