Bahraini-Russian relations discussed

Manama, Oct. 19 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla received today Russian Ambassador to Bahrain Vagif Garaev and discussed with him ways of bolstering bilateral relations and cooperation regarding regional and international issues. He lauded deep-rooted ties binding both countries, stressing the need to further bolster cooperation between the two friendly countries. The Russian ambassador praised the efforts of the Representatives Council Speaker to further consolidate the Bahraini-Russian relations, thanking him for the good welcome and wishing Bahrain and its people more progress and prosperity under its wise leadership. The meeting was attended by MP Abdulrahman Bumjid, the member of the Committee of Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security.
