Premier represented at Vienna's royal festival

Vienna, Oct. 19 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa delegated Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa to participate in Royal Charity Festival to be held on October 21-22 at the Schoenbrunn Palace in Vienna, in response to the invitation addressed to HRH Prime Minister by President of the Austrian Association for the Furtherance of Peace, Her Imperial Highness Archduchess Herta Margarete, and her husband Vice President Archduke Sandor von Habsburg. Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa today were received upon arrival at Vienna International Airport by Archduke Sandor von Habsburg, Shaikh Hussam bin Isa Al Khalifa and Bahrain's Ambassador to Austria, Yusuf Bucheeri. Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa conveyed HRH Prime Minister's greetings to Archduke Sandor von Habsburg and his spouse Archduchess Herta Margarete and wishes of abundant good health and happiness. They expressed pride in participating in the festival as representatives of HRH Prime Minister, praising the great contributions of the Austrian Association for the Furtherance of Peace and granting the Flame of Peace Award to the most prominent international figures in tribute to their contributions to promoting peace. They said that the prestigious award conferred upon HRH Prime Minister was in recognition of his contributions to promoting international peace, security and stability. They pointed out HRH Prime Minister's keenness to build bridges of communication and cooperation to reinforce peace efforts and bolster peaceful coexistence in the world. Archduke Sandor von Habsburg expressed appreciation of HRH Prime Minister's effort in advocating the dissemination of the culture of peace, noting HRH Prime Minister's initiatives at the humanitarian and development levels are a source of inspiration and pride. He welcomed the participation of Bahrain, a perfect model of coexistence, pluralism and openness, wishing the kingdom and its people further progress and prosperity.
