WMD national committee convenes

Manama, Oct. 20 (BNA): The National Committee on the Prohibition of weapons of Mass Destruction today held a meeting at the General Court of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the chairmanship of the Ministry Undersecretary and Committee Chairman Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla. A media plan for the committee was discussed and the participation in relevant workshops and meetings was reviewed. The meeting also looked into the arrangements for a workshop on how to formulate joint programmes with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The committee intends to organize the workshop in coordination with IAEA in November.
