Bahraini-Russian relations lauded

Manama, Oct. 20 (BNA): Parliament Affairs Minister, Ghanim bin Fadhl Al-Buainain, has lauded the advanced level of the Bahraini-Russian relations, especially following the recent visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Russia. The Bahraini-Russian ties have also been boosted thanks to the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, Al-Buainain added. The minister made the statements while receiving here today the Russian Ambassador to Bahrain, Vagif Garaev. He reviewed with the envoy the good Bahraini-Russian relations, stressing the importance of constantly developing those ties. He also commended the "effective" role playing by the Russian Ambassador to expand areas of bilateral cooperation. Ambassador Garaev underlined his country's keenness on achieving maximum levels of constructive cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain for the common interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
