Thomas Leads Second Round Of 2016 CIMB Classic

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 (Bernama) -- Defending champion, Justin Thomas took the second round lead of the 2016 CIMB Classic golf championship held at TPC Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Kiara, here Friday. The 23-year-old American shot a six-under-par 66 in Friday's round for a two-day total of 14-under-par 130. India's Anirban Lahiri surged the leaderboard to settle in second place with 12-under-par 132 while three golfers -- Russell Knox (Scotland), James Hahn (United States) and Hideki Matsuyama (Japan) was tied in third place accumulating identical 11-under-par 133. -- BERNAMA
