Azerbaijani Mammadyarov tops super grandmaster tournament in Tashkent

Baku, October 21, AZERTAC Azerbaijani grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov has topped the super grandmaster tournament commemorating the 680th anniversary of Amir Timur in Uzbekistan. Mammadyarov now has 6 points. Mammadyarov will next take on Israeli Boris Gelfand. The prize money of the tournament is $50,000. The tournament will end on October 22.
