Foreign Minister meets Tunisian Parliament Speaker

Tunis, Oct. 21 (BNA): The Speaker of the Tunisian Assembly of the Representatives of the People, Mohammed Al Nasser, today received the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, who expressed pride in meeting him and affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s stand by the side of Tunisian people. He hailed the smooth political transition in Tunisia and the advanced civil rights and freedoms enjoyed by the people, lauding the tremendous role being played by the Tunisian-Bahraini Parliamentary brotherhood Group in pushing forward the parliamentary Cooperation between the two countries. The Tunisian Speaker took pride in the fraternity and solidarity-based relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Tunisian Republic, and stressed that reinforcing cooperation among the Arab peoples is the sole way to achieve prosperity and meet national interests. He also paid tribute to the Kingdom of Bahrain for its high development and genuine openness on all sides, hailing its broad outstanding relations with world states.
