As Bahrain joins the world in celebrating the World Polio Day, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said it continues to immunize children against diseas with the ratio of children being vaccinated exceeding 97% since 1997. Bahrain shifted from the trivalent OPV to the bivalent OPV system in April 2016 as per the recommendations of the World Health Organisation (WHO), the ministry said in a statement.
