Deputy PM receives WVU delegation

Manama, Oct. 26 (BNA): Deputy Premier HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa today received Fahad Abdullah Al Zamil board of trustees' chairman of Kingdom University (KU) who presented to the deputy PM West Virginia University (WVU) board of directors' chairman Thomas V. Flaherty and President Dr. Gordon Gee. The deputy PM welcomed WVU's delegation, praising the cooperation between the two universities on academic research and the exchange of expertise to avail from WVU's high quality education to boost Bahrain's efforts to develop higher education benefiting from WVU's expertise. For the first time in its history, WVU will provide its academic programmes outside the United States to the Kingdom University starting 2017 which will cover engineering, energy and environmental courses under a strategic partnership between both universities.
