No Freeze On Intake Of Students By Malaysia's ILJTM - Minister Richard Riot

PUTRAJAYA (Malaysia), Oct 28 (Bernama) -- Human Resources Minister of Malaysia Richard Riot said there is no freeze on the intake of students by the Industrial Training Institute (ILP), Advance Technology Training Centre (ADTEC) and the Japan-Malaysia Technical Institute (JMTI). "As the Minister of Human Resources who is responsible for the Manpower Department, I would like to say the statement published today is inaccurate," he said in a statement, here Thursday. A newspaper reported on Thursday that industrial training institutes under the Manpower Department (ILJTM) would freeze the intake of new students. This followed a memorandum dated Oct 24 issued to all the directors and division directors of industrial training institutes. The memorandum which had gone viral said the freeze was enforced until further notice. --BERNAMA
