100 Participants From 12 Countries To Take Part In SHEMUD 2016

SEREMBAN (Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia), Nov 2 (Bernama) -- Some 100 participants from 12 countries will be taking part in the International 4X4 Women's Challenge or SHEMUD 2016 from Nov 5 to 9. Director of the event Narimah Samat said besides Malaysia, the other participating countries were Italy, Poland, the United States, Ecuador, Romania, the Czech Republic, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Brunei. "This year, SHEMUD 2016 is scheduled to take place in a tropical forest in Negeri Sembilan from Nov 5 to 9. Negeri Sembilan was chosen as the location for the event based on its topography and tropical rainforest that can give a strong challenge to the participants," she said in a statement here, Tuesday. She said the event was aimed at introducing Malaysia as an extreme sports destination among 4X4 enthusiasts. -- BERNAMA
