The Malaysian Ambassador to Indonesia, Zahrain Mohamed Hashim said no such incident took place and the situation in Jakarta was safe and under control after the demonstration on Saturday.
Other than the bombing report, there was also a false information alleging that several people were killed in the protest against the Governor of Jakarta, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok), who was regarded as having insulted Islam.
