Cultural ties with Kuwait highlighted

Manama, Nov. 7 (BNA): Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today received Kuwaiti poet/writer Abdulaziz Saud Al Babtain, the board of trustees chairman of Abdulaziz Al Babtain Cultural Foundation, accompanied with Chairman of the board of trustees of Isa Cultural Centre (ICC) and its CEO Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa. The minister hailed the historic fraternal bonds between the two countries and peoples in all fields, especially the cultural bonds. Shaikh Khalid commended the Kuwaiti poet/writer's contributions in spreading Arab culture, poetic creativity, boosting humane dialogue, cultural interaction among peoples, and honouring veteran Arab intellectuals. The minister praised the cooperation between cultural, literary and intellectual establishments in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Abdulaziz Saud Al Babtain Foundation aimed to enrich literature and poetry in our Gulf countries, wishing him further success.
