HRH CP praises the BDF’s combat readiness and proficiency as part of the Saudi-led Arab coalition

Manama, Nov. 8 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today visited the Royal Guards Headquarters.
Upon his arrival, His Royal Highness was received by the Commander in Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), His Excellency Field Marshal Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Royal Guards Commander, His Highness Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Royal Guards Special Forces Commander, His Highness Major Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and senior officers.
During the visit, the Crown Prince praised the high standard of the BDF’s combat readiness and proficiency, as well as its unwavering commitment to duty. In this regard, His Royal Highness highlighted the honorable service of the BDF troops as part of the Saudi-led Arab coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen, and the troops’ role in assisting humanitarian efforts.
His Royal Highness also paid tribute to the service personnel who have lost their lives fighting for the Kingdom’s security and stability, recalling their patriotic sacrifices in protecting the country and its allies.
Following the National Anthem and inspection of the Honour Guard, the Crown Prince listened to the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.
His Highness Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa then addressed the Crown Prince, senior officers and other members of the BDF.
In his remarks, His Highness Shaikh Nasser expressed his appreciation and gratitude to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for his ongoing support to the BDF, highlighting that as result the BDF had attained a high-level of advanced military capabilities.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser also underscored the importance of the Kingdom’s participation in the Saudi-led coalition to restore stability in Yemen, following His Majesty King Hamad’s directive.
His Highness went on to note that Bahraini troops’ had been acknowledged and praised by allied forces and Arab coalition countries for their military proficiency. In this regard, His Highness stressed that the ongoing support from His Majesty and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince provides a great source of motivation for all BDF combat personnel, as well as those working to enhance the military’s combat readiness.
Following the address, His Royal Highness presented medals awarded by His Majesty the King to members of the Royal Guards Special Operations Force (Taskforce 7) in recognition of their dedicated service during postings in Yemen.
His Highness Lieutenant Shaikh Mohamed bin Salman Al Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince accompanied the Crown Prince during the visit. His Excellency the Minister of Defence Affairs, Lieutenant General Yousif bin Ahmed Al Jalahma, His Excellency the Chief of Staff, Lietenant General Theyab bin Saqer Al Noaimi and a number of senior officers also attended the ceremony.
