Media and cultural ties with Kuwait praised

Manama, Nov. 9 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi has praised the strong historic fraternal ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Kuwait at all levels especially in the media and cultural fields. The minister today received Kuwaiti poet/writer Abdulaziz Saud Al Babtain chairman of the board of trustees of Abdulaziz Saud Al Babtain Foundation presently visiting Bahrain and being honoured by the Isa Cultural Centre for his enrichment of cultural activities in the Gulf region, Arab countries and internationally. The minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation of Abdulaziz Saud Al Babtain's contributions and his leading foundation established since 1989 in enriching the cultural, intellectual and literary scene in the Arab and Islamic world. It is worth mentioning that the Abdulaziz Saud Al Babtain Foundation has established several specialised centres for cultural, history and higher research studies and supported inter-cultural dialogue. It has also organised numerous cultural forums, training courses, awards, community initiatives, humanitarian and welfare projects.
