Shura Council chairman receives Italian ambassador

Manama, Nov. 9 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received the Ambassador of Italy to Bahrain, Domenico Bellato. Al Saleh stressed the importance of persistent efforts to boost the bilateral ties, the exchange of mutual visits to expand the circle of cooperation and the setting up of new channels for dialogue and consultation regarding various topics of interest to the two friendly countries, citing "This is Bahrain" festival to be hosted by the Italian capital, Rome, next week. The meeting also discussed the latest regional and international developments as well as issues of shared interest.
