Bahrain-ILO exemplary ties praised

Manama, Nov. 9 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan has congratulated International Labour Organisation (ILO)'s Director-General Guy Ryder on being re-elected for five-year term starting from October 2017. The minister a letter praised the achievements of the ILO director-general as well as the distinctive cooperation ties between the Organisation and the Kingdom of Bahrain which culminated in Mr. Ryder's visit to Bahrain in October 2015. The minister expressed his hope that the cooperation relations will boost the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), workers' gains, tackling global poverty and unemployment, wishing him success in his second term in office.
