IPI common projects with 3 Islamic states is to begin

Tehran, Nov 12, IRNA – Head of Pasteur Institute of Iran (IPI) Mostafa Qaneie said on Saturday that Pasteur Institutes of three Islamic states will launch four joint projects by the end of this Iranian calendar year of 1395 (to end on March 19).
Concerning production of new version of antidote of snake and scorpion venom, more effective vaccine for tuberculosis, holding training courses to promote capabilities of man powers in the field of contageous diseases spread by insects and finding new vaccine for leishmaniasis are four join projects of the Pasteur Institutes of Iran, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco, Qaneie said.
He said that by the consensus, for the first time, between Pasteur Institutes of several countries and by full execution of them, some of diseases will be reduced in the countries.
Qaneie stressed that intention of the four IPIs in Tehran meeting has been finalized, but the cases should be written and share of each country in investing in the projects should be determined.
He said during 3 working day meeting, experts of the four countries decided the title of projects for cooperation and now the issues should be confirmed by heads of the four IPIs.
MATI 2016 regional meeting kicked off in Tehran on November 7 to 9 in presence of Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, heads of Pasteur Institutes of Iran, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria as well as representatives from IPI of France and China.
