Premier congratulates UAE on 45th National Day

Manama, Nov. 30 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa congratulated the United Arab Emirates on its 45th National Day. "The UAE celebrates its National Day, proud more than ever of its landmark achievements which reached all sectors and turned the country into a role model for development and progress", he said, paying tribute to the UAE enlightened leadership. He stressed his keenness to share the Emiratis their celebration and hailed deep-rooted fraternal relations, paying tribute to the UAE leadership and people for supporting Bahrain in all circumstances. The Premier lauded steadily-growing relations, hailing His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. This came as he attended this evening a ceremony hosted on this occasion by the UAE Ambassador to Bahrain Abdul Ridha Abdulla Khouri at the Gulf Hotel, in the presence of senior officials, members of the diplomatic corps and guests. He reiterated the keenness of both countries' leaders on bolstering cooperation and building on achievements to strengthen their regional and international standing, describing outstanding relations which reflect strong kinship and common destiny. "Bahrain looks forward to strengthening economic, commercial and investment relations and stepping up joint coordination regarding Gulf, Arab and international issues in the framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)", he said. The UAE ambassador expressed deep thanks to HRH the Premier, hailing his keenness on consolidating bilateral relations. "The presence of HRH the Premier, who graced the ceremony, reflected strong fraternal relations and ever-growing cooperation", he said.
