Women's contributions in sustainable development praised

Manama, Dec. 1 (BNA): Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa has affirmed the pioneering role of Bahraini women in the legal and judicial fields. On the occasion of the Bahraini Women's Day, the minister applauded the huge efforts of the Supreme Council of Women led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council of Women, that constituted a landmark in Bahrain's modern history and embodied one of the dimensions of the Kingdom's modern renaissance in the prosperous era of HM the King. The minister expressed his appreciation of Bahraini women's contributions to sustainable development in the legal and judicial fields, including magistrates, prosecutors, lawmakers, lawyers, consultants, academicians, researchers and professionals in public, private and civil society establishments.
