HRH Princess Sabeeka congratulated by Shura Council chairman

Manama, Dec. 1 (BNA): Chairman of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, has extended congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on the Bahraini Women's Day, which falls on December 1 each year. In a cable to HRH Princess Sabeeka on the Bahraini Women's Day, Al-Saleh voiced pride in the Bahraini women's distinguished status and influential role in the Bahraini society at all levels. Bahraini women have made quantum leaps and attained milestone achievements thanks to the support and interest of the kingdom's leadership, he said, lauding the efforts exerted by the SCW, under the leadership of HRH Princess Sabeeka, to upgrade Bahraini women and enhance their role, being citizens who are fully entitled to being effective partners in the nation-building process. The SCW's efforts reflect the honourable image of the Bahraini women, and contribute to consolidating their status and leading role in many fields, he added. The Shura Council Chairman hailed the "fruitful and constructive" efforts exerted by HRH Princess Sabeeka to advance Bahraini women and preserve their rights and dignity, praising the achievements of the SCW under HRH Princess Sabeeka's leadership. He prayed to Allah Almighty to bless HRH Princess Sabeeka with abundant good health and happiness, wishing more progress to women in the kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
